JOHN BROWN UNIVERSITY, STUDENTS IN FREE ENTERPRISE

 Each year, students, faculty, community members, and business professionals come together to give time, resources, and energy to helping others. Some of our projects take us into prisons here in Northwest Arkansas teaching inmates the basics of finding and keeping a job all with the hope of breaking the cycle of release and re-imprisonment. Other projects draw us abroad to developing countries working with entrepreneurs and their small businesses. Each project is developed from a real need coupled with sincere passion for people. We invite you to get involved. Here’s how:

For Students:

1. Come to a club meeting to learn more and meet others—Tuesdays from 4:10-5:00 PM in SBC 110
2. Get involved in a current project—contact Zac Freeman for more information on what we’re up to right now
3. Apply for SIFE sponsorship of one of your great ideas—see a need? Create a project and organize a team
   
4. Tryout to be a SIFE Speaker—join a small group of students who will represent JBU and tell our story at regional and national competitions
   
5. Apply to be a JBU SIFE leader—we’re always looking for talented students to lead the organization and each of our projects
   

For Professionals:

1. Visit our campus—we enjoy showcasing the work of our great students
2. Recruit our students—reach out if you’d consider JBU SIFE candidates for opportunities at your organization
3. Give—we appreciate the time, energy, and resources you give to share in the impact
4. Become a BAB Member—our Business Advisory Board is comprised of professionals who care deeply about our work and our students and are personally interested in the continued success of the program
